Faith's Forum

Faith’s Forum is an adult education and discussion group which meets each Sunday from September through May. Topics vary, from Bible study series and conversations on favorite Bible verses, to guest speakers from Take Action MN, the ELCA’s Anti-Malaria Project, and Lutheran Health Care Bangladesh. Something interesting is always going on at Faith’s Forum – join us Sundays at 9:15 in the Parlor!

For the month of February, our topics will be:

February 5:   Rachel Allison will lead us in a study on Love. Today: loving others.

February 12: Rachel Allison will lead us in a study on Love. Today: loving ourselves.

February 19: Rachel Allison will lead us in a study on Love. Today: loving God.

February 26: We will watch “Pray The Devil Back to Hell,” which chronicles the remarkable story of the courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country. Thousands of women came together to pray for peace and then staged a silent protest outside of the Presidential Palace. Armed only with white T-shirts and the courage of their convictions, they demanded a resolution to the country’s civil war. Of special note is that 3 of the women who were instrumental in starting this protest were named Nobel peace prize winners recently.
