Bethel is constantly working to create opportunities for connecting with others. Our concert series is one example of this mission in practice.
Join us at 3pm every 2nd Saturday of the month November 2026 through March 2027 for an afternoon of beautiful music. This is one of the ways of sharing our talents, instruments, and space with all those who love live music. Suggested $10 Donation.

Bergstrom Family Band
The Bergstrom Family Band consists of Sam & Melissa along with their teenage sons Finneas & Oswald playing mostly jazz with a sprinkle of rock, pop, classical, and liturgical tunes. They perform regularly at Edina Community Lutheran Church, Under Pressure Brewery in Golden Valley, and at various social functions including weddings, funerals, graduation parties, house parties, etc. They will present "Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall: Seasons of Jazz" - some familiar standards, some new tunes, and a few fun surprises along the way.

Angelica ENCORE! Choir

Angelica Encore is a mixed voice, auditioned community choral ensemble, established in 2011, that provides a continuing choral experience for Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs alumni as well as choral singers from throughout the Twin Cities area. Encore strives to illuminate an individual’s life-long connection to singing and is committed to continuing the high choral standards set forth by the youth choir ensembles. Angelica Encore is led by Director Nancy Grundahl and performs exciting and meaningful repertoire including classical, multi-cultural, and contemporary genres, both sacred and secular. Angelica Encore is supported by member dues, fundraising, donations, and the Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

The Nitka Folk Performance Group

Nitka is a folk performance group affiliated with The Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The group’s mission is to study, research, perform, and interpret female communal culture of old Russia. The songs and dances are based on the 19th century village tradition, but their roots are far more ancient. Performances feature circle dances called khorovods, singing games, work songs, solemn ritual events, and more. This is an intangible heritage that Nitka hopes to preserve.
Nitka means ‘thread’ in Russian. As a thread holds pieces of cloth together, Nitka’s creativity weaves past and present histories, locations, and practices into Minnesota’s rich cultural fabric.

Brethren Bones
Tim Gustafson, Ritchie Two Bulls, and Lyn Pulsifer are a Twin Cities trio who have been making music together as Brethren Bones since 2017, when they discovered their shared love of three-part harmonies. They perform a mix of classic Americana covers and original songs by Tim. They sing at local venues, events, and fundraisers. Their album of original songs is at brethrenbones.bandcamp.com
Their second album is planned for early 2027.

Minnesota Freedom Jazz Band

The Minnesota Freedom Jazz Band has been playing for audiences in and around the Twin Cities for more than 20 years. We are a 20 piece band that plays in a “big band” style. We have performed at area Pride Festivals including the Twin Cities, Rochester, Golden Valley, and Bloomington, major league sporting events such as the Twins and Wild games, the Mall of America, and many, many other places. We are part of the parent organization, The Minnesota Freedom Band, which was organized in 1982. The jazz band is currently under the direction of conductor Mr. Mike Haase.
