Bethel accepts you for who you are, just as Jesus does. Come as you are. Bethel members are eager to share fellowship and company with you. Bethel Lutheran Church is a part of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America).

Come as you are!  Tie or dress, jeans or shorts, we welcome you to this space to hear and proclaim God's Good News.  We gather together to be God's Church and as a worshiping family in South Minneapolis.

Communion is open to all and is served at every worship.

Children are welcome to play, wander and even be picked up by our pastor during sermons.  We have room between several pews for children to play and be WITH US as we worship.

Music is varied with diverse liturgies and plenty of opportunities to sing.  Bethel uses traditional hymns and music from a wide variety of sources.

Education for all ages runs throughout the school year offering opportunities for school aged children, youth in high school and a Faith Forum (education & presentations) for adults.

Bethel is a music loving congregation. With opportunities to sing in one of two choirs, ring handbells, or play your own instrument,  Bethel has a variety of ways to praise the Lord through the making of music

The 1957 Schlicker organ leads most of the services at Bethel. This instrument is instrumental in leading congregational singing.
